SUSAN (SHEILA) FREUND
1941- 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan on Friday, February 25, 2022.
She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Darren (Verene); grandson Matthew Dueck (Naomi); granddaughter Kelsey Courtney (Ryan); great-granddaughter Sonya and sister-in-law Jeanette Bauer.
She was predeceased by her husband Ed and her brothers, Harry and Albert Wheeler.
Susan spent most of her working career as a purchasing agent for a clothing manufacturer. She and Ed spent many memorable years at the Arlington Sports Club, fishing and visiting with other members. Susan spent countless hours volunteering at Kin Place Personal Care Home while Ed was a resident there and always enjoyed bringing her baking to grateful recipients.
The family would like to extend thanks to the staff at the Selkirk Hospital for taking amazing care of her.
As per Susan's request, there will be no funeral.

Darren and family, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing from uncle Sunny. I just heard now. I remember your mom’s laughter the best. As a young mother, fun, loving and kind. Your parents were the greatest couple. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. I am so sorry for your loss.
