AGNES CECILLE LAVALLEE

The family is saddened to announce the passing of Agnes Cecille Lavallee at the Charleswood Care Home. After surviving a bout with Covid in November of 2020, Mom passed peacefully in her sleep due to heart failure on February 15, 2022.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gaspard and Emma (Desjarlais) Lavallee; by her brothers, Gaspard Jr., Christopher and Benjamin Lavallee and by her sister Leona Chaboyer.
She is survived by sisters, Juliette Belrose (Ken) and Jeanine Hagen (Ivan). Agnes is also survived by sons, Edward Lavallee (Debbie), Leo Beaudin,and David Beaudin (Lisa) and by daughters, Gail Kohinsky (Roy) and Bonnie Waugh and by 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was born and raised in St. Laurent, Manitoba and lived in Winnipeg, Edmonton, as well as St. Eustache and Morris, Manitoba, working as a homemaker, while managing her own family as well. Her latter years were spent mostly with her sister Juliette and daughter Bonnie in Edmonton, enjoying bingo and making friends there and in the Metis community of Kikino, Alberta, before settling in the Charleswood Care Home in Winnipeg.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Charleswood Care Home for their kindness and patience with Mom and for their kind words about how they will miss her and her cutting, but entertaining sense of humour.
Cremation has taken place and the funeral service and interment will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9,2022 at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church and cemetery.
