LESZEK ZENON OSTROWSKI
April 12, 1956 - March 3, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leszek (Les) Zenon Ostrowski at the age of 65 on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
He was predeceased by his wife Karen and left to remember him are his son Andy (Stacey), sister Anne, brother-in-law Dave, nephews Mark and Andy, and recent partner Pamela. Les also leaves behind his granddaughter Hollie who he had the greatest affection and love for.
Les was born in Poland and came to Canada in 1961 where he went on to marry Karen Balliet in 1975 and live out his life in Winnipeg, MB. He will forever be remembered as being a strong, tough, hardworking man with the softest heart for his family, friends and loved ones.
Our family would like to thank all the staff in the Surgical ICU at the Health Sciences Centre where they provided the utmost care, kindness and compassion.
As per Les' wishes, there will be no formal ceremony held.

I went to high school with Les, at Tec Voc. We played basketball and hung around together until we graduated and went our own ways. I can still remember his laugh and a great drive to the net. My condolences to his family. Rest easy Les. - Posted by: Jim Penner (High school friend) on: Mar 08, 2022
