(Nee HARDER)
June 28, 1932 – March 4, 2022
March 4, 2022, Helen Hajer, aged 89, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, went home to be with her Lord.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Henry of 71 years; her children, Herb (Lisa), Harv (Debbie), Wendy (Rick), Cindy (Richard), Jennifer (Duane), daughter-in-law Lisa Anne; 15 grand-children and 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister and two brothers.
Helen is predeceased by son Rudy, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with interment at Green Acres Cemetery. Please respect mask mandate.

So sorry to hear of Helen's passing. We have been friends for many years going back to when Henry worked for Westfair Foods and I was married to Merv Booty before his passing. I have such fond memories of times spent together with them at the lake and when the four of us travelled to Nova Scotia together. Helen was always such an inspiration to me. Her strong faith and gentle nature was so uplifting even during sad or difficult times. You were all so fortunate to have had her as a mother and for such a long time.
