JOHANNA (HANNIE) FRYER
Passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC, on January 17, 2022. Born in the Netherlands on February 21, 1925.
Predeceased by her husband, the Reverend Canon Leonard C. Fryer (2004); and daughter Margaret Hills (2021). She is survived by daughters, Elsie Millerd and Joyce Dreilich; sister, Hendrika (Riek) Thurkow; brother, Albert Jan Thurkow; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and their families.
Hannie played an active role in supporting her husband's ministry in Anglican Church parishes in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario.
The funeral service will take place at Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria, BC, on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. PTD. Those wishing to attend virtually may do so using the link found on Hannie's obituary page at www.mccallgardens.com where condolences may also be left for the family.
