MARILYN JOAN POTTER

Peacefully in the evening of March 9, 2022, Marilyn Joan Potter (66) went to be with her Heavenly Father. She shared her love as we shared our grief, giving her children one last tear down her cheek as they held her hand on her journey to heaven's gate.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband John Richard Potter, and survived by her sons, Steven (Melanie) and Matthew (Nicole), grandchildren, Joshua, Jasmine, Janelle, Janaiya and Abigail as well as her mother Kay (Henry) Thimer. All of her children learned by the example of unconditional love that she set, an example guided by our Heavenly Father, as mom and dad look down from above with Him at their side.
Please join us in celebrating her life on March 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2G 2K3.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in her memory.
We would like to thank the staff at the Alberta University Hospital for their compassion, kindness, and ultimately for their skill in giving us the time to say "see you later" to mom.
