ERLINDA SANCHEZ CORONIA

Sadly, and unexpectedly, Erlinda Sanchez Coronia departed from her loving family on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the age of 70.
Erlinda was born in Mandaluyong, Philippines on February 1, 1952 to Rodrigo and Perfecta Sanchez. Erlinda was a devoted wife to her husband of 45 years, Ernesto and loving mother to Kim and Christine (Mick). The centre of her world were her grandchildren: Taylor, Madden, Brady, Eli and Tessa. Erlinda's kind and selfless nature was noticed immediately by all who knew her, as well as, those who were meeting her for the first time. She was lovingly referred to by many as their second mom. Erlinda had a large extended family and group of friends who she enjoyed taking road trips with or playing her favourite card game "tongits" with on the weekend. She will be greatly missed by her numerous family and friends.
There will be a service for those who would like to say their last goodbyes to Erlinda on Tuesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church at 315 Munroe Avenue with Father Greg Mulligan officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Lamay will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home at 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Sunday, March 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Prayers will be starting at 7:30 p.m.
The Coronia/Kongmanisvong family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of CR4 and ICCS at St. Boniface Hospital for the care they gave Mom and compassion they showed to our family.
