Claire was a very devoted Foster Parent for over 30 years. Her primary area of expertise was in caring for adolescent boys usually four at a time. Claire also took care of elderly borders as well. Her cheerfulness and sense of family has stood them in good stead and enabled them to provide a strong family atmosphere. Claire maintained contact with Arthur Wilson and Dennis Nolette who continue to this day to be part of our family. Claire's past time was working in her flower beds. Her yard was breath taking. She also had an interest in raising canaries. We would always hear them singing. Mom welcomed her children and grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play in the pool.
A celebration of Claire's Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Ste. Anne's Hospital for her palliative care. We would also like to thank the staff at the Villa Youville for the exceptional care they provided.
