Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I drove Al on the car out of 8 station when he was acting DC. He was a great guy a pleasure to drive, I would get a kick out of him with his sport select picks on NFL football on Sundays, him and Mitch Zalanski would get a ticket and the payout would be Over $400,000 if it won. He would say to me what do you think? I would just answer "Any Given Sunday" LOL. My sincere condolences to his family, Al will be missed. See you again Al. God take care of you. - Posted by: ken barnett (Brother Firefighter) on: Mar 27, 2022

  • Dad, there are so many things I will miss...the morning calls and hearing your voice say "rise and shine son", "so whats happening at the Oasis today", you coming to visit us at the food trucks, seeing your red car pull into the driveway, watching every sporting event with you, your voice your smile your kindness and your Love. Dad we love you and will miss you so much, Thank you for everything the memories will last for ever! Till we meet again xoxo Love Darren & Cheryll, Teigen (Jon) and Baby Landen, Colton & Melissa - Posted by: Darren Zembik (Son) on: Mar 26, 2022

  • Big Al was one of the guys I truly enjoyed working with. Great stories and Big Z burgers. I always thought of him when I went through Selkirk. A good firefighter and a genuinely nice guy. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Scott Miner (Collegue) on: Mar 26, 2022
