RAYMONDE (MAMIE) PELLETIER
(née CORMIER)
1942-2022
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Raymonde on March 25, 2022 at Foyer Valade, with family by her side.
She grew up in La Salle, Manitoba, daughter of the late Henri and Jeannette (née Laurin) Cormier.
Raymonde was predeceased by her sister, Lucille and Rolly Hudon, her mother-in-law, Marguerite (née Pichette), as well as sisters and brothers-in-law Jack and Jeannette Van Buekenhout, George and Yvonne Van Buckenhout, and John Shoup.
She is survived by Robert, her husband of 57 years; children Julie Pelletier-Paillé (Maurice), son Ron (Heather Burdeniuk) and Joanne Pelletier (Jim Hoeppner) and her seven grandchildren whom she cherished; Emilie, Liam, Gabrielle, Samuel, Sarah, Martin and Miriam.
Raymonde leaves in her memory, her sister Germaine Malo (Omer) and her brother Gérald Cormier (Doris), her brothers and sisters-in-law: Raymond (Audrey), Claudette, Denise (Maurice), Gilbert (Brenda), Philippe (Yvonne) and Bernice (Renald) and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Maurice Comeault presiding at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. The family respectfully request that all attendees wear a mask.
Those unable to attend can join virtually through www.cropo.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
