ERIC JAMES KROHN
August 23, 1982 - March 15, 2022
With broken hearts we acknowledge a man who left an indelible mark on those he called family. Though his time with us was shorter than we wished, his love for those left behind stands as a testament to his true character.
After a brief but gallant battle with cancer, Eric slipped away quietly and peacefully surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Krohn (fur baby Gallifrey), Dorothy and Len Krohn (Mom and Pop), brother Ian Krohn (Zander, Zavier and Danya-Rae), two bonus brothers from another mother, Shawn Brown (Amy and family) and Trevor Reitman, adventure buddies, Micah and Christine Braun (and family) and a huge extended family that he cherished.
Eric found great comfort and peace in his strongly held faith. He spent his last days making people laugh and reminding us that this was not goodbye but rather, until we meet again.
In the words of Eric's beloved Dr. Who, his last message would be "I'm sorry, It's too late. I'm regenerating". We will meet again...
Respecting his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Ness Baptist Church in Winnipeg on April 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to Winnipeg Mennonite Seniors Care Inc. to enhance quality of life for residents. Both organizations were of great importance to Eric. Make a donation to

My condolences to Eric's family. I worked with Eric at the airport from 2013-2016 and hung out with him all the time at the airport atrium. He would always tell me how his his spouse and kitten were doing, and make lanyards while waiting for the next flight to arrive. He was a great work friend and I still have one of the lanyards he made for me. God speed Eric, you were a cool guy who made 12 hour shifts pass by. - Posted by: Danielle (coworker at the airport) on: Apr 04, 2022
