ARTHUR EDWARD GANCHOW

Sadly, we announce the passing of Art Ganchow on March 27, 2022, in Winnipeg, just 10 hours short of his 88th birthday. He always did like to be early for important events. Art was a loving husband to Joyce, and doggy-daddy to Angel. Art is survived by many cousins.
Growing up in Pine Falls, MB, he enjoyed his small town and its people. Learning to fly, and owning his first plane as a teenager, he became a bush pilot and fly-in fishing operator for many years.
Art made friends everywhere, bringing laughter and a smile to everyone's face, and joy to their hearts.
Thank you to his medical team and Grace Hospital ER/ICU staff.
No service is planned at this time.
In his honour, donations may be made to Winnipeg Humane Society.
Condolences may be sent to www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com

And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings."

  • Art was always pleasant to play and work with. When we were kids as an only child he had a little play house in the their yard on the Rock and and it was full of the best toys we could hope for in those days.
