GREGORY MARKE DALLY
1962 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Marke Dally on April 5, 2022 at the age of 60, with family by his side.
A son, brother, dad, "Umpa", uncle, coach and friend to everyone he knew, Marke (with an e) will be deeply missed and always remembered as kind, loving and loyal.
Marke was predeceased by his mom Muriel Gaudry; grandparents, George (Ethel) and Vivian Dally; pépère Ernest and mémère, Veronique Gaudry.
Left with wonderful memories are his dad Barry (Hazel Kushner); number one sons, Jeremy and Joshua (Miranda); his daughter Maci-Jade (Nolan Fisher); stepson James, sister Roslyn (Kevin Klassen), niece Sarah, nephew Ben; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and the most recent light of his life, granddaughter Ava.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with a reception to follow. Private interment will take place at a later date. To access the livestream information please contact Chapel Lawn between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
A Dad before all else, Marke was moved to tears watching the brave little warriors at CancerCare. Even on his weakest days, he could be found playing and giggling with them in the hall.
In lieu of flowers, Marke would appreciate donations to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. It was Marke's wish for his 60th birthday, just a few days ago, to gather new unwrapped toys to be distributed to the children undergoing treatment at CancerCare. If you plan to attend the Celebration of Life and are so inclined, please bring one with you.
Our family wishes to thank Dr. Szwajcer and the GD6 team at Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Because of you, we have another six years of memories.

Serenity now and forever, Brotha!

  • I got to know Marke on our Thurs. Nite rides out to Roxy’s in Selkirk for wings & a beer. I thought he was a great guy whom I knew to be genuine. I always enjoyed talking to him. He always talked about his kids whom he loved very much. My condolences to all the family. May Marke’s memory forever be a blessing. - Posted by: Michael Pinx (Riding Friend) on: Apr 12, 2022

  • Marke was our boss. Before this, we did not have someone who was positive and sales oriented to help us achieve our goals. Marke was a breath of fresh air. He was positive and he definitely helped us a lot. He had a heart of gold, great sense of humour, intelligent and all around nice person. He often talked about his family. He was so proud of his sons and daughter. He also loved his father and his sister. You can see his face just light up when he spoke about his family. I am so sorry he did not make it. I know he fought so hard to beat this. I will miss you Marke. This is not goodbye, it is we shall see each other again. - Posted by: Lise Magnan (My Mentor/VP of Sales/Friend) on: Apr 12, 2022

  • Deeply saddened with the loss. Marke's incredibly charming character, caring, welcoming, humorous, sincere and much much more will all be remembered. Been such an honour knowing him for my 15 short years at the previous company. Heartfelt condolences and also appreciate much again for the amazing family support and updates on social media. Even overseas didn't distant out despite this pandemic. All in prayers all the way from Macao. - Posted by: Mabel Chow (Work Associate) on: Apr 11, 2022

  • I was so sorry to hear of Marke's passing, I know how hard he would have fought to stay but it was not to be. Marke was a well known professional in the insurance industry and had that special ability to have people of all walks of life riveted to his entertaining presentations. Macy, he spoke often of you with ferocious pride, and was so dedicated to you. I hope that happier days with your Dad will help you through these difficult times. We will miss him. - Posted by: Bonnie Siemens (Business Associate) on: Apr 10, 2022
