It is with deep sadness that family and friends announce the peaceful passing of Mike at the St. Boniface Hospital, on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Kathleen Blake. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Randy (Delores), Kevin and Craig (Robin), as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mike was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life and material things were not important to him. He enjoyed fishing with lifelong friends, Bob and Jim, enjoying the occasional beer and horse racing.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his friend of 30 years, Robert. He has been a true friend to Mike.
In keeping with Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. The family asks that you raise a glass in memory of Mike, he was loved and will be missed by all.
