BERNICE KRISTINE MULLINS
(nee CHRISTJANSON)

Bernice passed away peacefully in Kelowna, April 2, 2022, following years living with dementia.
She was predeceased by her parents, Valla and Valdi Christjanson, first husband Joe Simcoe in 1968, brother Irvine Christjanson in 2017 and daughter-in-law Joan Lyons in 2021. She is survived by her husband Fabian, son Chris Simcoe, daughter Dawn (Wayne) Byron, granddaughter Lori (Ken) Unger and her adored great-grandchildren, Lily and Lucas as well as her sister-in-law Florence Christjanson and several nieces and nephews.
Mom was born in Lundar, MB on March 22, 1930 and grew up in Shoal Lake and Neepawa before moving to Winnipeg where she resided until 2006 when she and dad moved to Kelowna, BC.
Mom always enjoyed playing cards (somewhat competitively), doing crosswords and reading, often with a glass of white wine in her hand. She shared many happy years at Patricia Beach, MB where our dad built the family cottage. Family meant everything to her. Mom is now at peace and we will hold her in our hearts always.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
