SCOTT AURINGER
Scott George Auringer, 72, peacefully passed away from cancer on April 6, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving wife and sons.
Scott was born on June 1, 1949, in Fort William, Ontario. He grew up with a love of sports, excelling in baseball and golf. As a boy he enjoyed spending summers at camp on Lake Superior and snow machining in the winter.
A transfer to Winnipeg started his 38-year career with Schneiders Foods/Maple Leaf Foods, where he was the Western Distribution Manager. Though work kept him busy, his family came first and he always made time for his friends. During the week he coached his sons' hockey, enjoyed Friday beers with his friends at Dal's Restaurant and played golf on Saturday with the boys.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Monica, his two sons, David (Jennifer), Brent (Nicole), and grandchildren, Alexander, Grace, Jameson, and Paxton. Scott was predeceased by his parents, Bud and Grace and brother Brian (Rose).
At Scott's request there will be no service.

My condolences to Monica, David and Brent and their families on the passing of Scott, husband, father and grandfather. Scott was my supervisor at J.M. Schneider Foods for 30 years and I couldn't of had a better boss than him. He was always kind and respectful and understanding. It was nice to have one boss from start to finish during my career at Schneiders. Memories Eternal - Posted by: Glen Ambrose (Employee) on: Apr 16, 2022
