ROBERT CATELLIER
Robert Catellier, 77, of St. Malo, MB, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.
Robert lived life to the fullest and pursued his many passions. Whether it was going horseback into Riding Mountain elk hunting or boating to the outer bank halibut fishing off the west coast, Robert was a true outdoorsman. He was a revered horse trainer and riding coach that was recognized for 25 years of service as a 4-H leader. Above all, Robert was a caring and generous person that made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife Charlotte Watkins, his sons, Dan and Darryl, brothers, Donald (Anita) and Gerard (Rose) Catellier, Guy and Ellery Carriere, grandchildren, Devin, Justin and Coltin Demuth, Matthew and Duncan Catellier. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by Heather Stone, Matt Legal, Darren (Danny) Nickel and Damon Nickel.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Rose; brothers, Roger and John and sisters, Jeannette and Rita Vermette.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Parish.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Southern Health-Sante Sud: Bethesda Hospital CancerCare.
