JEANNETTE GISELE CARRIERE
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannette Gisele Carriere (nee Jeanson) 'Nene' on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She leaves to mourn her husband Marius, her five children, Monique (Ernest), Lynn (John), Louise (Louis), Lisa (Duncan) and Daniel.
Her grandchildren, John, Daniel, Crystal, Jessica, Vanessa, Janelle, Brendon, Brody, Ariel, Bradley and great-grandson, little Carter. Jeannette will also be missed by her siblings, Gilles (Louise), Robert (Irene), Lise, Joyce (Al), many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces and friends. Last but not least her precious fur baby Lady. Jeannette was predeceased by her parents, sister Rachel and brothers-in-law, Brian and Jean-Jacque.
Jeannette was born on February 10, 1946 in Lorette, MB, marrying Marius in June 1966. Marius felt truly blessed to have shared his life with her. They raised five children together while enjoying a good part of their life in Grande Pointe, MB Jeannette had a tremendous work ethic and gave 100 percent to everything she did. She also enjoyed the simple things in life. Time at home by the pool, reading, knitting and spending time with her beloved pets.
We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the paramedics and staff at Ste Anne Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society in Jeannette's name.
Cremation to take place with interment to occur at a later date.
'You will forever be in our hearts and our thoughts. Love you today, tomorrow and for always'.

Marius and families, my deepest sympathy in the loss of Jeannette. She was such a kind, generous, loving lady. I treasure our friendship. There is a new star in the sky, bright and twinkling. I look at it and see the twinkle of Jeannette's eyes.. She will never be far from you, in spirit and in the many wonderful memories each of you shared. Marius & family. I'm in shock seeing that Jeannette passed away. We had not seen each other for quite some time, but I will always remember our friendship when we worked together. I thought of her often and we met for lunch several times after she retired. I will always remember her wit and her many funny sayings.
