GARY DOUGLAS JENINGA
We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend in Thunder Bay in March 2022.
Formerly of Winnipeg, Gary had many close friends who shared laughter, stories, and life events. Gary loved coming back unannounced to Winnipeg and dropping in on friends. It was in Winnipeg that Gary nurtured his greatest passions in life, friends, music, fishing, and maths. A big thank you needs to go to Mr. Rob Millman, principal of Darwin public school who saw in Gary his interest in math and made the effort to bring in high school math to keep Gary engaged. This grew into a lifelong passion of Gary, who used those skills working as a surveyor.
Gary leaves to forever mourn his passing, his mother Karen Howcroft, sister Laura Andrews, son Jordan Chalk-Rodrigue, and many extended family.
Cremation has taken place. We will miss you Gary, but know you are at peace now.
If you would like to remember Gary, a donation to CAMH or any addictions agency of your choice would be appreciated.

I am very saddened to hear about his passing!!, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him but he has been with me the whole way. The last time I saw him was with his mom and sister, I was requested by his mom to meet with them. It was a great visit but never saw him again after that. If all possible if someone can share my contact info to his mom or sister or dad to give a call at 780-977-7463 would be much appreciated!. My deepest condolences to the and all his friends!!!. Sincerely Albert!!. - Posted by: Albert Plamondon (Hockey buddies ) on: Apr 06, 2023

I'm really going to miss driving around in your cars cranking out tunes! It was something I looked forward to doing. People would hear you coming from miles away. Because of you I've always had a nice sound system (neighbors wouldn't agree)! I love my Bose speakers which I remember your Dad selling way back in the day. I know that's where you found your love of stereos and what goes good together. You taught me about proper wiring and installation (keeping it tight). I'll also miss your HUGE smiling face and your endless stories that kept everyone riveted! My condolences go out to all of your family and extended families in Thunderbay, Winnipeg and also to the ones in Toronto. He will be missed dearly! Mark - Posted by: Mark (friend ) on: Apr 24, 2022
