DAVID BONE
August 30, 1956 – April 15, 2022


It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David, with his son Kevin and mother of his children Sarah holding his hand.
David will be greatly missed by his children, Elliott (Rachelle), Nadine and Kevin (Karlee), special friend Sarah Butler (Cecil), his grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica-Jade, Alayna, Leona, Leeandra, Kaydence, Laura, Connor and Levi, his siblings, Vivian (Robert), Linda (Glen), Garry, Lydia, Howard, Nelson, Rebecca and Lorne (Susan) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
David was predeceased by his son David Jr., his parents, John Bone and Clara (Campbell) Bone Aneechin, in-laws, Herbert and Beatrice Butler, brothers, Leonard, Bruce and Floyd, nieces, Sonia and June, nephew Clint, grandpa Joe Aneechin and grandpa Harvey Chartrand.
David loved his 32-year career with the Children's Rehabilitation Centre where he made numerous special friends that he held near and dear to his heart.
Special condolences from Raymond, Noel, Vera, Darlene and Marlene (Phil).
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital for the compassionate care they had provided.
Please join the family at Cropo Funeral Home, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, MB, on April 22, 2022 for wake services from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight and funeral service on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Brookside Cemetery.

  • I was very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Whenever I see someone from the Rehab they always ask about Dave. He is remembered for his ready smile and quick laugh. He also had a great singing voice which I only got to hear once.
