EDITH GOODFELLOW MIDDLETON STROME
January 25, 1926 - April 3, 2022

Mom passed away peacefully, with family at her side.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerald in 2019. She is survived by their six children, Rob, Lynne, Sandy, Kim, Rae and Shona; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mom was born in Dundee, Scotland, second of seven children. She has two surviving siblings in Scotland, Rena and David; and many nieces and nephews.
She met Gerald during the Second World War. They married in Dundee in 1945. In 1946 Mom travelled to Canada as a War Bride on the Queen Mary. Her greatest joy came from family and friends. She was active in many clubs: Sons of Scotland, Lionelles, Sweet Adeline's, Bowling Leagues. Mom and Dad enjoyed celebrating every event from New Years Eve to Christmas. They loved adventure and travel. Mom was highly organized, caring and generous. She lived her life fully.
Special thanks to Kildonan Care Centre staff from 2013 to 2022.
