My husband Al and I met Paul and his lovely wife Dianne when we got a spot where they were camping. The nicest and friendliest couple to meet. We had coffee and Dessert with them often and Paul had lots of stories to tell. Cindy and family please except my deepest sympathy on the the loss of Paul. In 1971, when we were building our house in St. Andrews, Paul worked along side Peter. Diane, Cindy and Tammy were playmates with Tara-An, Amber and Dusty. I’m so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Shannon Smarz (Old friend) on: Apr 23, 2022

My condolences to Paul's family and sisters. I started working part time in 1962 at Safeway, Main & Luxton store where I met Paul's mother, Annette. What a gracious woman she was. She was a cashier and I was her bagger. I continued working at Safeway while I went to university. I was asked to night stock one night a week at the Main & Royal store and that was where I met Paul. What a surprise as I knew his mother. We both hit it off real well. Paul was like his mother in a lot of way, very outgoing, lots of energy. I helped him in a small way in the planning of his parents 25th wedding anniversary. Paul was had a lot of smarts. At that time, you had only a channel or two on your tv. His neighbour got a special tv set up for more channels. Paul found a way to get a splitter to tap into this and paid his neighbour half the costs of instead of paying full cost. Looking back, more than 50 years have passed since we last met. Thank you for the memories of both you and your mom. God Bless, Rest in Peace. - Posted by: colin dederick (co-worker) on: Apr 23, 2022
