JEFFREY GRANT MELNYK
March 4, 1961 - April 13, 2022

With a heavy heart, Diana by his side, Jeff unexpectedly passed away. He had spent 35 difficult days at St. Boniface Hospital.
Survived by Diana Martinson, partner and soulmate. Diana's siblings, nieces and nephews he treated as his own. His mom Marilyn Melnyk, sister Jan Willows, brother-in-law Brent Willows, nephew Chris Willows (whom he was very proud of), many other relatives with special mention of Aunt Kathy (Uncle Brian who passed March 24, 2022).
Predeceased by his grandparents, dad Walter, nephew Michael.
Jeff grew up in North Kildonan, enjoyed going to the family cottage at Laclu, watching trains (proud he had worked on Prairie Dog), feeding all critters wherever we were. Mexico was our second home, going 12 times in the past 10 and a half years. Jeff recently retired from his job as a 2nd class power engineer.
We will all miss his advice, knowledge, quick wit and sense of humour.
The family would like to thank WFPS, St. Boniface Hospital ER, 5B, ICMS and 6AS, Dr. Olofson, Dr. Christiansen, residents, nurses, nurses aides and physio. They touched us with their extra care and compassion during these difficult times of Covid restrictions and short staffing.

Cheers my Man! Enjoy that Margarita
