MIRIELLE (MIMI) PATTYN
(née LEVESQUE)
Peacefully and with dignity, Mimi age 82 of Ste-Anne, Manitoba passed away on April 20, 2022, at the Villa Youville Personal Care Home.
Mimi was born in Monmartre Saskatchewan to Georges and Georgette Levesque on September 18, 1939. Mimi is survived by her children, Bob (Suzanne), Michel (Denise) and Carole (Guy); and grandchildren, Jules, Andrée, Eric (Angela), Stéphane (Riesha), Aimée (Roger), Yvan (Jayda), Demi (Eric); and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Also left to cherish her memory is her brother Guy (Ida) Levesque and in-laws Joan Levesque, Paul Charrière, Gisèle (Eugene) Jubinville, Denis (Claudette) Pattyn; along with many nieces and nephews.
Mimi was predeceased by the love of her life Gilbert (Gil); along with Georges (Pierrette), Dollard (Yvonne), Doreen (Bob), Ghislain, Gilles, Jeannine Carrière, Aurèle and Yvette Charrière.
Mimi was known for her genuine heart of gold, honesty, empathy and selflessness. She had the work ethic of "15" men, no task was ever left unfinished. The community was important to Gil and Mimi, and Mimi certainly left her footprint in various ways through her work in the health sector along with a stint in the schools.
We would like to extend sincere gratitude to all staff at the Villa Youville for taking care of our precious Mimi in the same way we would have, had it been reasonable to support her in her own home. She maintained her grace as she lived the journey Alzheimer's took her through, and we take solace in the fact that she is now at peace.
Repose toi bien "la belle »
(notre chère Maman Mémère)
nous t'aimons grand comme le ciel!
A Celebration of Life will be held at Desjardins Funeral Home, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.

- Posted by: Camille Légaré (connaissance) on: Apr 29, 2022

- Posted by: Rosemary Doyle-Morier (Collègue et amie) on: Apr 24, 2022

I have such warm memories of Mimi from when she worked in the clinic in the basement of our house and years later when I worked a couple of summers at the clinic on Central Ave. I remember her generous nature and her ever present smile. My sincere sympathy on the loss of this special woman. - Posted by: Elaine Doyle-Shaver (Friend) on: Apr 23, 2022
