ALAN PHILPOT
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our rock and our protector, Alan Jack Philpot, on April 23, 2022, at the age of 52. He was an amazing husband, daddy, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great friend. We are devastated and cannot imagine life without him.
A longer obituary will follow, with details of the date and time of the Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the True North Youth Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

I first met Al while he was a community crime prevention volunteer in the Selkirk District. I was with the RCMP at the time and Al rode shotgun with me on a few occasions. Approx 5 years later I met up with Al while he was the parking and security officer for Concordia Hospital. Al was a member of my WRHA Regional Security Team and we met quarterly until I left in 2017. We shared many lunches and visits on and off Concordia campus. Al was always a supporter and offered positive input in many projects. I was sad to hear of his passing. My prayers and condolences offered to his family and friends.
