ABRAM GOERTZEN
September 21, 1916 - April 20, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.
Abram was predeceased by his parents, Heindrick and Anna Goertzen, his wife Winnie, all his brothers and sisters, his daughters, Gwen and Sadie and grandson Kirk Duguid.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Bill (Linda), Jake, Neil (Cecile), Abe (Corinne) and daughters, Ann Collen and Eleanor Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Dad was born and raised in Hebert, SK and worked all of his life as a carpenter. His favourite pastime was fishing and his years in BC provided much enjoyment of that. In his retirement years, he loved to keep busy with woodworking and reading.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
