  • RIP old friend. Maybe there is a sunny sheet metal shop where you are! Vichnaya Pamyat - Posted by: Ed Pauch (Friend) on: Apr 28, 2022

  • What a wonderful father he was. I had the pleasure of being very close with Carmen Basarawich, who always beamed brightness when she spoke of her father and their adventures and travels together. Fortunately I had the pleasure of having short but sweet interactions with him. Singing karaoke at a night out with Chris and Carmen and myself is the last time I had the pleasure of having so much fun with the family. God bless you and your stairway to heaven awaits you, until we meet again. - Posted by: Michelle Desautel (Family friend ) on: Apr 28, 2022

  • We will always remember Rick for his kindness and enthusiasm, and his harmonicas! When we get back to jamming at Sam's or the Duke, we will raise a glass and play some blues for Rick. RIP to a true gentleman. - Posted by: Leah (Fellow musician) on: Apr 28, 2022

  • Dear Kathie and family. Maureen and I are shocked and very, very sad to learn that Rick has passed away. He was a good friend and a very fine person. We shall miss seeing him again in Mexico. Sending you all our love and support....Paul and Maureen - Posted by: Paul and Maureen Wilkinson (Friends) on: Apr 28, 2022

  • To all of Rick's family, we are so sorry for your loss. We have many memories of good times with Rick in our 'younger days'. Rick helped to create opportunities for those who worked at Basar Htg.
