CLAUDE (PIT) LAGACE
April 8, 1953 - April 26, 2022


On the early morning of April 26, 2022, our beloved husband, father and grandfather succumbed to his illness at the age of 69.
He leaves to mourn his love Paulette (Rochon) of 40 years; his daughter Rachel (Sean); sons, Don (Jody) and Jean-Claude (Corinne); and his grandkids, Brooke, Nicholas, Colin, Sophie, Maxim and Zoé. Claude was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Irène Lagacé. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Diane and Evelyn; and brothers, Alan, Gilbert and Hervé.
Claude was born in La Salle, Manitoba on April 8, 1953 on his parents' farm. In his younger days, he spent lots of time with his best-friends, Henri, Brian and Léo Lagacé. Before Paulette, Dad had another love, trucking. Dad drove a semi for 52 years.
In his last years, Dad loved travelling, camping and spending time with the love of his life Paulette, his family and his friends.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the St. Hyacinthe Parish in La Salle, Manitoba. Interment will follow at the La Salle Cemetery.
