NANCY SOLTYS


After a lengthy illness Nancy passed away on April 21, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by the love of her life her husband Mike. She also leaves her (four) children, Cindy (Darrell), Karen, Brad (Lindy), Shelley (Craig). She leaves one sister Audrey (John) Gottfried behind and was predeceased by her parents, Grimsey and Anne Anderson and her (two) brothers, Alex Anderson and Ron Anderson.
Nancy was born at Gimli, Manitoba and grew up at Winnipeg Beach on the family farm. She met Mike and together they moved to Winnipeg where they spent their 64 years together raising their family. Family was her life and her most favourite times were spending time with her ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation and a private service has taken place.
Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.


Life took you away from us way to soon. You will forever and always be our hero!

  • My heartfelt condolences to the family on the recent passing of Mrs. Soltys. I remember her as a welcoming, friendly lady with a wonderful smile. Very kind and loving mother to her children and grandchildren. She always made time to chat when I ran into her around the neighborhood or even back when she worked at the Bay in KP mall.
