July 10, 1947 - April 30, 2021
In memory of a loving wife.
We made our vows "Till death we part".
Then God came and took your hand
and my whole wide world fell apart.
It's lonesome without you by my side.
No one knows how many times
I've broken down and cried.
When I look back on our life,
one thing that makes me glad,
that you chose me to share the
precious gift of life with you!
So deeply missed and forever
loved by your husband Lawrence

What a beautiful poem, Lawrence! It certainly captures the lovely relationship and life you two shared. As I think back over the years, Faith always seemed to have such a peaceful spirit about her. And the two of you seemed to thrive in each other's company, just enjoying each step through life. Nice, that. I just miss her presence, knowing she's no longer here with us. The sadness sort of sneaks up on me from time to time. I will never forget her saying, "I've made the jellied salad that you like so much, Beryl!"
