REGIA LUCIENNE LAHAIE

Régia Lucienne Lahaie (née Brun) passed away on April 30, 2022, at 9:55 a.m., at the home of her daughter Marietta in Calgary, Alberta. She was surrounded by her loving and caring family. She was 96 years old, and in her own words, had a good long life.
She was predeceased by her one and only love, her husband of 65 years, Louis Lahaie who passed away in 2012. She was also predeceased by her parents, Marie and Albert Brun and her beloved grandmother Lucienne Brun. She was loved by her son, Albert Lahaie, her daughter, Marietta Horchower (Alain), her granddaughter, Lisa Horchower (Mark), her grandson, Joseph Horchower, and her great-grandson, Joshua Hennessey.
Régia was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba (a place always in her heart) on February 12, 1926. She was raised in Vasser, Manitoba. She married Louis on June 27, 1947. He called her his ROCK. Régia was a super friendly, outgoing person whose warm personality drew all kinds of people to her like a moth to a flame. She will be terribly missed by all her family and friends. She has earned her place in heaven (and if you don't find her there then there ain't no such place). Rest in peace, Reggie (Yaya).
