Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Bettie was the kind of person that you couldn't help liking. She was kind, fun, had a great sense of humor and always had her finger on the pulse of Fred Douglas Place. She will be missed a great deal by many. It was a standing joke that my husband, Bob, was her "boyfriend" - not sure how that rumor started but we all got a chuckle out of that one. We are no longer living at FDP but I am happy to say that she came to see us at our new home and we had a lovely visit. We always kept in touch by phone & whenever we in the building she always came down to say hi. She touched many lives during her life. We will miss her but she will always be in our memories and our hearts. To Bettie's family we offer our sincere condolences. She loved her children more than life itself. Know that she will always be with you. - Posted by: Chris & Bob Milloy (Friends from FDP) on: May 09, 2022

  • Extending my heartfelt sympathy to the Moulden family. I'm deeply saddened to learn of Bette's passing! We met about 20 yrs ago when Bette helped canvass in her complex for the Canadian Cancer Society during the April campaign! In fact she canvassed for a few years in Fred Douglas Place! I always looked forward to catching up and it was like no time had passed! To Bette's family I wish you all peace & comfort in the days ahead!
