OLGA ROSNYK
Olga (Ollie) Rosnyk passed away on April 15, 2022, at the University of Alberta Hospital, at the age of 96 years.
She was born on September 24, 1925, in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Ukrainian parents, Jacob and Julia Pulyk. She was married to the love of her life, Bill Rosnyk, for 63 years. Ollie worked for the Manitoba Government and after retirement, Bill and Ollie spent eight winters in Hawaii. They moved to Edmonton with their daughter, Barbara, who had received her Master's Degree in harp performance from Indiana University Bloomington to further her career.
She was well known in Edmonton for her beautiful music.
Ollie is predeceased by her husband, Bill; son, Michael; daughter, Barbara, her parents, two brothers, and a niece. She is survived by sisters-in-law; Evelyn Rosnyk of Winnipeg, and Joan (Bert) Aikens of Rochester, Minnesota; her niece, Beverly Michalick of Winnipeg, and many great nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place, and a family graveside service will be held later this summer in Winnipeg.
