MARGARET SIMMONS
December 8, 1939 – May 2, 2022

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Margaret Simmons. She passed away peacefully on May 2, 2022 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at the age 82.
Margaret leaves to mourn her two sons, Steve (Helen) and Paul; grandchildren, Rebecca (Kent), Hailey (Michael), Quillon (Jessica), Liara (Wilder) and Janelle and her great-granddaughter Peyton; her brother and sister-in-law, Geoff and Audrey in Australia and also her brother- in-law and wife, Brian and Jean in England and her many friends at Dawson Trail Apartments.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Palliative Care, Riverview Health Centre for making mom comfortable and pain free as long as they did.
The family also thanks everyone who came to visit her and give her help and happiness during her short battle with lung cancer.
Mom will be missed by all that knew her. She was a true strong willed, stubborn British woman and will always be remembered.
We love you mum. As much as we are broken hearted now that you are gone, we are also happy to know that you are with dad again .
