PAZIA (PAULINE) IGNASH
(nee ZUK)
January 16, 1925 - May 4, 2022
Peacefully, on the afternoon of May 4, Pauline passed away at the age of 97. With sadness we announce the end of a generation as she was the last surviving sibling of 14 children. It was a special moment when we had the opportunity to gather four generations of close family members to share final moments before her passing at the Health Sciences Centre.
Pauline is now spending time with her husband Walter after his passing in 1994.
Funeral Rite is Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 1175 Main Street with interment at Glen Eden Cemetery at 4477 Main Street. Masks are mandatory at the Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Walter and Pauline Scholarship Fund managed by St. Andrew's College, Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, Ukrainian Museum of Canada - Manitoba Branch, the Osvita Foundation, or a charity of your choice.

We ask God to grant Pani Ignash eternal life in His Heavenly Home. We will always remember Pani Ignash for her caring nature as the nicest Sunday School teacher and for the most delicious pancakes that she used to make for us in our younger years at her place after church. She was also humorous and sweet and fun to be with at camp. We enjoyed great times with her. May her memory be eternal. Вічна їй пам’ять! I worked with Pauline at Machray school and remember her kindness, her skills, and her artistry. I still have the two beautiful Easter eggs she made and gave to me in 1973! The world has lost a classy lady. - Posted by: Jim Patterson (friend ) on: May 12, 2022
