JOHN NORMAN GLEN ABBOTT
January 17, 1949 - May 6, 2022
We are sad to announce the passing of John Abbott, after a lengthy battle with cancer and dementia. His wife Marianne passed away just three weeks prior. They were to celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary this summer.
John was employed by Winnipeg Hydro and Manitoba Hydro for 35 years as an accountant. Upon retirement, he and Marianne made their annual trek in their motorhome to Thief River Falls, Minnesota and spent the summer months in their happy place.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial for Marianne and John will be held at a time to be determined in June.
