VELMA ANNE JOHNSTON
Retired nurse and long-time resident of St. Vital, Velma passed away suddenly at St. Boniface Hospital on May 4, 2022.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Elizabeth Johnston and survived by her sister Ruth Holl (Brian) and niece Sarah Mokry (Martin) in Victoria, BC, and by her nephew Ian Holl (Nadin Rybaczyk) and great-nephew Nathan Holl in Gibsons, BC.
The family wish to thank Ruth BZ Thompson for her support, Kristen Watson for her assistance in facilitating Velma's move to Tuxedo Villa, and the staff for their care of Velma over the past 20 months.
There will be no funeral service by request.
Donations in Velma's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
