I worked with Jack at the WSD1 for a number of years. Jack was always very friendly and fun to work with. He was instrumental in computer advancement in the Building Department. His knowledge helped a lot of people with the set up and training of the use of home computers. After we both retired, we kept in contact almost on a daily basis, by e-mails or phone calls. Will miss Jack very much. Rest in Peace my friend. - Posted by: Paul Shewchuk (WSD!) on: May 15, 2022
First met Jack at his home when my work partner and I were asked to do some minor repairs in his basement..right from the get go, Jack and I clicked instantly into a friendship. Then I discovered that he was into computers, he became for years my go to computer guru...this service really bonded our relationship. I miss you ol' boy...your sense of humor and also one who is on the same wavelength on most subjects, we did have great discussions..I sure miss that with you Jack...Rest in peace ol' buddy... - Posted by: Bob Carriere (Friend and customer) on: May 15, 2022
I met Jack in the spring of 1972 and we soon became good friends. He helped me through a difficult time in my life. He always made himself available if I needed his support or a few uplifting words. Always smiling, always friendly, always upbeat and dependable. Kind, caring, considerate, he was simply a good man. I know he will be sorely missed by Helena and family. Rest in peace old friend. - Posted by: Bill Temereski (Friend) on: May 14, 2022
John was a wonderful man, kind, compassionate and with a good sense of humour. You could always count on John to help with your technical issues. It was a pleasure to have known John and we wish Helena and her boys our most sincere condoleances. Gilbert and Micheline Poirier - Posted by: Micheline Poirier (Gamache) (Friend) on: May 14, 2022
I met Jack when I was 19 yrs old and just starting working in the Purchasing Dept and WSD1. He always said "Hello" with a big smile and made me feel welcome in my new workplace. Thanks, Jack, for always smiling. - Posted by: Allison Rondeau (Co-worker) on: May 14, 2022
