Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • So sorry to hear of Mel’s passing Brenda. I will miss our visits at Pumpkin Fair. - Posted by: Jane Reid (School mate) on: Jun 10, 2022

  • I'm sorry to read of the passing of Mel, and I wish to pass my condolences on to his family and friends. Like Mr. Lucas he worked in the same building as I did, although in my case he was 'down the hall and around the corner'. Mel was a professional craftsman, a gentleman and willing to help anyone that he could. Rest easy Mel, you have passed too soon. - Posted by: Bob Sales (Colleague) on: May 15, 2022

  • Sorry to hear of Mel’s passing, thinking of you and your family Brenda. - Posted by: Ray & Jeannie Phillips (Cousin) on: May 14, 2022

  • I am so sorry to hear of Mel's passing. My condolences to Brenda and family. I have many fond memories of working with Mel at Survey's and Mapping Branch, Province of Manitoba. Mel started at Survey's and Mapping about a year before I did. So for as long as I worked there he called me "The Rookie". I was also quite honoured to be Mel's Best Man at his wedding to Brenda. A long and loving marriage. He was taken way too soon. May he rest in peace with the Angels. Wayne and Norma Lucas - Posted by: Wayne Lucas (co-worker) on: May 14, 2022

  • Hugs and condolences Brenda and family. Just wanted you all to know that Mel will be truly missed as a Super co-worker, an encouraging Skip and teacher in curling, and a great friend for numerous years. Our Love, prayers and sympathy go out to all of you. - Posted by: Hal & Lois Behlke (Friends, co-worker & curling team mate) on: May 14, 2022
