Sidney was a passionate seamstress and paper crafter. She completed her Apparel Design Certificate in 1996 and spent many hours sewing beautiful projects for herself and her grandchildren.

I may be gone but I will always be with you.

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)
Sincere condolences to you all on the passing of your beautiful Mother and Grandmother Sidney. We were fortunate to become Sidney’s neighbours a few years ago. She was a wonderful lady with the brightest smile. Her presence will be missed at Cornerstone. To know she suffers no more and is reunited with her sweetheart brings some comfort. Rest in peace sweet lady. - Posted by: Marlene & Brian Miller (Friends and Neughbours) on: Jun 16, 2022

Sincere condolences on Syd’s passing. I remember fun filled stays at Elkhorn Ranch around New Years with her and Bob and Alex and Don… hitting the ski trails, playing Take Four and sharing some great meals. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. - Posted by: Gerri Thorsteinson (Friend) on: May 14, 2022
My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Christie, David, Elizabeth and Daniel as you grieve the loss of your mother. Your mother was a very special lady. I remember so fondly getting to know her when she volunteered in the library at Emerson School. Through the years we would meet by chance at The Fringe Festival, MTC, and PTE. I was always greeted with a smile and a hug and spent a delightful time in conversation catching up on happenings in her life ,and, of course, an update on what you , her children, were doing. Your mother was a strong person. She always was so upbeat throughout her health struggles. Just as I have many memories, you, as a family, will find comfort in many many memories of happy times together. I know she will be sorely missed . Thinking of you with sympathy at this difficult time. Shirley Augustine - Posted by: Shirley Augustine (former teacher-libraian Emerson School) on: May 14, 2022
