Celebration of Life will be held on May 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 403 First Street North, Beausejour, MB.

Carl was a recognized fiddle player who competed in contests at Petersfield and Claneboye fiddling contests . One year he won first prize and was awarded my grandfathers memorial trophy (Alfred E. Cox). At that time Carl and family were living at Glenboro, Man. A few years later I went to Carl’s home to retrieve the trophy since it was no longer relevant and discontinued being awarded. Carl gracefully and respectively gave me the trophy after I explained that I am Alfred Cox’s grandson. I still cherish that trophy and is displayed in my home now with Carl’s name engraved on it.
