KENNETH J. USHER
July 11, 1931 - May 11, 2022

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth at age 90, beloved husband of Olga for 68 years.
Kenneth is survived by his children: Glenn (Solange), Sandra, Brent (Laura); grandchildren: Raymond (Adrienne), Darcy (Brent), Cory (Lyben), Sean (Sarah), Erin, Justin; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Julia, Isabelle, Lily, Alex, Claire, Eve, Amelia; nephew Kiley Horvath; nieces: Linda Stordeur, Kira Lunde; and foster daughter Chantal Hunter.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Margaret, both born in the United Kingdom.
Ken was born in Winnipeg and spent his early years in Morse Place. Ken and Olga married in 1954 and relocated to Toronto. Returning to Winnipeg in 1958 he resettled once again in Morse Place to raise his now growing family. Ken's passions included bowling, golfing, and fishing, watching classic movies of his favourite actors or actresses and was very proud of his British heritage. Ken retired at 59 from Molson Breweries. During his retirement Ken began his journey in Genealogy researching not only his own family tree, he also assisted many other "Usher" families around the globe. He truly enjoyed time spent with his family and trips to Pierceland, Saskatchewan. His final years were difficult but Ken persevered with the help of all his loved ones especially his devoted wife.
In keeping with Ken's wishes a private service/interment will be held on a future date.
