Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • "Uncle" Eddie was truly one of a kind. Not really my uncle, he was my Mom's cousin. But, we grew up in an era of respect and calling him and "Aunty" Agnes by their first names just wasn't appropriate. I still called them Aunt and Uncle when I visited with them a few years ago. We lived next door to them on Prosper for a while when I was a kid. I have very vivid memories of Uncle Eddie and my Dad making very stinky beer in our basement. And, I also recall that car that he had - it sticks in my mind because the back window rolled down and I thought that was so fancy. It was fun having cousins right next door. On that last visit, we really took a trip down memory lane. He talked about all kinds of family stories, including how he would be “noodling” around on his guitar when our many musical family members got together with their instruments. My heart is with the entire Benoit family. - Posted by: Deb Degryse Clark (Family) on: Jun 16, 2022

  • To Agnes and family. I met Ben when I purchased my first home on Hill Street from him. He was a gentle man and always stopped to say hello when I would see him on one of his walks. My condolences to you and your family. - Posted by: Lynette (Neighbor ) on: Jun 14, 2022
