CONNOR WILLIAM PUTASNICK
June 14, 1997 - April 26 2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of Connor, at the age of 24, our most beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend. On April 26, 2022, peacefully, with family by his side, Connor passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, and was handed off to the angels and is safe in the hands of God.
Left to mourn is his mother Theresa Putasnick, as well as many extended family and friends. Connor was predeceased by his grandfather Donald Putasnick 2021.
Connor was the most kind and caring person who loved his family more than anything, especially his momma bear Theresa. Connor had a beautiful soul and was loved by many. He was a free spirit always trying to put smiles on everyone he knew. Connor had this smile that was contagious, he would light up a room with the sound of his laugh. The love he had for his family was endless. Connor worked as a roofer for many years and was further educating himself, and well on his way to becoming the great man that he wanted to be.
When you think of our dear Connor, celebrate the wonderful memories you have of him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the MICU staff at HSC for the care and compassion they showed to our loved one Connor.
There will be a service for Connor held at Wojcik's Funeral Home, 1020 Main Street., on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be pleased if you made a donation in Connor's name, to a charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will take place at a later date.

You were gone before we knew it,
and only God knows why.
A million times we miss you.
A million times we will cry.
If love alone could have saved you,

In life we loved you dearly.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you didn't go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day God took you home.

When I first met connor back when he was in elementary we became the closest of friends immediately, we looked up to each other forever. I’ll always remember coming over and having the best of times. I’ll always have a place in my heart for him, I’m so lost for words about this. I'm lost for words an my heart is crushed I can't make it to see him 1 last time.. Connor was my best friend an my gaming buddy when we could play pubg together. He was my friend I would see throughout the years growing up elementary to high school an after. I'm glad we both always messaged each other to ask how we both doing.. I met Connor back in 2019. We immediately became close friends. Connor had a caring heart the day I met him and he told me about the goals he had in life. You helped me Connor when I was going though hard times and you were there for me brother. You’ll always be remembered brother. Dear Theresa, Paige and family. The day I heard of your devastating loss,, I had a complete meltdown all day, so I can't even fathom the insufferable pain you're all in. I watched Connor grow up with goals, developing exceptional manners and always showed deep respect for others. I feel so fortunate to have known him, but especially am very proud of the wonderful young man he became. No parent should EVER have to experience what you are going through, Theresa. You were a brilliant, dynamic Mother and you raised two wonderful children. I'll forever cherish my precious memories of you all and thank you deeply for giving them to me. My heart hurts so much for this tremendous loss. Connor was a sweet boy and a kind and loving young man. I have so many memories of him. I had the pleasure of watching him grow for a number of years. Truly was a blessing watching Connor grow. From BMXING to his first Tattoo, to his first job, and many other adventures and jobs Connor has done. I haven’t seen Connor for a few years, however Momma Bear always keepers me informed on Connor’s well being. I am truly sorry Theresa and Paige for your loss and tragedy that has gotten me writing this today. Connor will always have a very special place in my heart. Connor you will never be forgotten and I promise you I will be there to watch over your mom, Paige and baby Noah. Connor was the best friend a person a person could have. I will miss the endless hours on the phone together & always calling each other when we had important life decisions to make.
