MICHELLE SUSAN MCLEOD
We are sad to announce the passing of our mom, grandmother and GG on May 9, 2022.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Gisele Vizza (Pat) and Danielle Kerr (Randy), her grandchildren, Riley (Alissa), Alyssa, McKayla and Daniel and her great-grandchildren, Charles and Lewis, as well as her brother Ray Miron (Carolynn) and her extended family and many friends including two special men, Carmine Vizza and Andrew Kerr.
Michelle was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Raymond James McLeod.
She was born in 1950 in St. Boniface where she shared a love of golf with her mother as members of the St. Boniface Golf and Country Club. Michelle graduated from St. Boniface College with her teaching diploma. She then went back to the University of Winnipeg and received her Bachelors of Education.
Michelle began her career in Churchill, Manitoba where she met and married the love of her life, Raymond. After a few years, they moved back to Winnipeg, and she continued her teaching career at Issac Brock and then moved to Ecole River Heights where she retired from.
She and Ray were avid traveller's and visited many parts of the world. They settled into retirement in their beloved Rincon de Guayabitos.
They loved to spend their summers at West Hawk Lake with the crew. The crew was a group of lifelong friends where many were at her side providing love and support until the end.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Grace Hospice for their care and compassion for our Mom and all who loved and supported her while in their care.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Grace Hospital Foundation/Hospice Care.
Rest in Peace mom,
you will be deeply missed.
We will be celebrating both Michelle and Ray McLeod's lives on June 25, 2022. Please contact grvizza@gmail.com to RSVP and for the details.

Auntie Michelle had the best stories around the campfire. During holidays I will always remember all those trips to Winnipeg and Westhawk when she would cook, those family dinners were delicious. Some wonderful Christmas's in the little homestead as well. She was so loving and funny. She always had a smile on her face and the most hardiest laugh. All those little rocks she would paint and place around her home truly inspired me, they were so beautiful. She loved her family so much she will be missed dearly. Prayers for the family and dear Auntie Michelle. - Posted by: Genevieve Mcleod (Neice) on: May 24, 2022
