ELSIE LOUISE ELLIOT
March 1935 - May 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on May 11, 2022, at the age of 87, with her family by her side.
Elsie was born in Selkirk, Manitoba and is survived by her son, Larry and wife Sharron; her granddaughters, Allison Zielinski (Daniel), Shannon (Tyler); and great-granddaughter Aubrey Zielinski; as well as her sisters, Donna Popp (Randy), and Shirley Picard; sisters-in-law, Mae Fast, Sheila Fidler, and Fran Fidler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie is predeceased by her husband Dwayne of over 60 years; her parents, Margaret and Edward Fidler; her brothers, Charles, Harvey, Martin, Kenneth, and Larry; and her sister Violet Babee; and nephews;, Albert Presiloski and Curtis Popp.
Elsie adored her grandchildren and loved spending as much time as possible with them, the girls have so many fun memories of camping trips to Pine Dock and Selkirk Park! Elsie loved watching wrestling, game shows, and sports, especially the Jets! She also loved baking, especially for her family!
You will be forever in our hearts,
we love you so very much.
We thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
A private family interment service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, if you so wish, a donation may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
