VICTORIA (VICKY) SADIE WINTER
Our mom passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022, at the age of 94, with family by her side.
Born November 9, 1927, Mom was predeceased by her parents, five brothers and sisters and aunt Sarah (Sitto) with whom she had a very special bond with.
Mom is survived by her sons, Brock (Sandy), Jeff (Cathy), and daughter Jan, as well as her granddaughter Jennifer (Cory), grandson Steve (Sydney), and her beloved great-grandchildren, Abigail, Sophie, Georgia, and Miley.
Not only a great mom, she had a very long and successful business career. Mom ran her own successful business, Dress Parties by Vicky, for over 20 years and later worked for the Better Business Bureau into her late 70s. She loved meeting and interacting with people. Mom was very proud of her Lebanese heritage and was a long-time supporter of the Lebanese Association. In her later years she travelled the world with her good friend Helen and her daughter. Mom enjoyed going to the casino and playing the penny slot machines and always looked forward to sitting on her deck at Grand Beach (and was still driving herself there at the age of 90). Mom loved flowers and took great care in her geraniums and tomato plants.
We would like to thank Deer Lodge Centre Tower 3 North for their love, caring, and support for our mother (they will never forget 1,2,1,2,3).
A private family service has been held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation / Dementia Units Project.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
I grew up summers at Grand Beach... I became friends with Jan, Vicky’s daughter! Our parents were friends also. We would always head down to the beach, on the boardwalk, second set of stairs.... there, we would set up our chairs, and enjoy every sunny day. Our families enjoyed the friendship, coolers with sandwiches and soda pop...we spent the entire day on the beach. Vicky introduced me to grape leaves.... a type of Lebanese cabbage roll...very delicious. I remember her beautiful smile.... a beautiful lady. My sincere condolences to the family.... Brock, Jeff, and Jan. Memories will live on forever. Susan Perich Klopak - Posted by: Susan (Perich) on: Jun 27, 2022

Although it’s been a while since I have had the pleasure of seeing Aunt Vicky,I always remember how nice she was to me. Her warm kindness always added to our family visits and I still remember fondly her smiling face and the way she laughed at a joke from my uncle cec. Our most sincere condolences to Brock,Jeff,Jan and families. Our most sincere sympathy. Craig and Karen - Posted by: Craig Winter and Karen Gilfillan (Nephew) on: May 26, 2022
Vicky, was truly a very special woman. I loved her dress parties and her rich Lebanese heritage. Her special Aunt Sitto was also a much loved character. Family was always first in Vicky’s life. My deepest condolences to Brock, Jeff and Janis. Marsha - Posted by: Marsha Graham (Drobot) (Friend) on: May 21, 2022
