ALEXANDER GERMAN CASTRO
December 8, 1995 - May 4, 2022
With heavy hearts, we announce that Ali (Alex) passed away on May 4, 2022, in Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 26 years.
He is survived by his mother Nori Olynyk; father German Castro; siblings, Adam, Megan, and Jazmyn; nephew Theo Bastos; and niece Milan Bastos. Alex also leaves behind uncles, aunts, cousins, grandma, second cousins, and friends.
Alex played many roles in our lives, a soccer player, coach, referee, friend, and loving family member. In each role he played, he projected his true self, a respectful, kind, wonderful young man.

A celebration of their life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on May 30, 2022, at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Ali I haven't seen him in many years but I do remember Ali from the soccer community, my deepest condolences to his family.
