JUDY HELEN HARDING
(nee BENNETT)

September 1, 1948 – May 21, 2022

It is with deepest regret that we advise of the sudden passing of Judy, wife, daughter, sister and the most devoted mother to her boys, James and Rob (Sara).
She is also survived by her sister Gwen (Bob), Debra (Andrea) and brother Floyd (Nancy) and her sister-in-law Annie and brother-in-law Harry. Jude was a great aunt and will be deeply missed by her nephews, Blair and Nick (Jackie), Mike, Devin and nieces, Kristi (Geremiah), Christina (Ross) and Sabrina.
Jude was particularly joyous of the recent marriage of Rob and Sara, she finally had her daughter. Judy had so many friends which is not surprising to anyone who knew her. Her sense of humour was the absolutely best. Jude and Garry were proud members of Marriage Encounter, where they made many life long friends.
Anyone who knew Jude knew she lived and breathed Bingo and spent many infamous nights "sweating" and "dabbing".
To the St. Boniface Palliative Care doctors, nurses and aids of 6A South, our appreciation and respect for you is endless. You are truly angels on earth.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 27 at 12:00 p.m. at Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Avenue, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • It took many years for us to reconnect - High school seems so far away. Thinking of you and your family, wishing them comfort in each other and fond memories of you. - Posted by: Geri Cole (Swayze) (friend) on: May 25, 2022

  • Garr, and family...we were so very sorry to hear of Jude's passing...our sincere sympathy at this very difficult time...a bright light is gone... - Posted by: Judie and Wayne Oldfield (Friends) on: May 25, 2022

  • Judes helped raise myself and my sisters Liz and Kate. She started out as the "new nanny" when we were babies and quickly grew into another grandma to us (also a chef, chauffeur, teacher, referee and about 100 other roles she mastered). She saw us through our formative years and the Hardings have remained close family friends ever since. Popping by Judes and Gary's house on an evening leading up to Christmas for some chocolates and a few cocktails has always been a cherished tradition. I loved making her laugh because it was contagious and I think she enjoyed hearing about all my antics as I grew into a teenager and a young adult. She was tremendously loved. Her spirit, kindness, generosity and heart will always hold a special place with me and I will be forever grateful to have had her in my life. Judes you fought hard, may you be at peace and rest, I love you. - Posted by: Dale Morrison (Family Friend ) on: May 25, 2022
