  • We are so sad, Sheila, and sorry for your loss. Mel was a good, well liked person. We will all miss him. - Posted by: M Smolinski (Family friend) on: Jun 04, 2022

  • Mel hired me on at Liberty Tax downtown and eventual I became manager for the location and we became friends. He actually ended up living in my complex downtown, he took me to Jet's games, My girlfriend, Mel and I used to go out for dinner, drinks and we coffee many times. My Girlfriend at the time would bring over meals for letting her take her daughter to a Jet's game. Mel was a generous person who was great to work with and a great friend. I did lose contact with him when he moved from the complex but just got the bad news from Sagren Nair who we both worked with Mel at one time. You have an awesome spirit Mel and I will always be grateful for meeting you and being as best as a friend as I could. God Bless you. Gonna miss you but you will always be in my heart. - Posted by: Joseph Bergeron (Employee and Friend) on: May 30, 2022

  • I worked for Mel Kiesman in 2012/2013 at his Liberty Tax office on St. Mary’s Road. He was a great employer, kind and generous. I enjoyed watching hockey with him at the Bell MTS centre.
